PROJECT 1

The focus of this project was to begin to develop core competencies around issues of geometry, order, composition, arrangement, and organization. Drawing and modeling techniques were used on a specific geometric shape, the quarter circle.

PROJECT 2

Unlike Project 1, Project 2 incorporated two different geometries – the quarter circle and the triangular pyramid. Project 1 largely maintained the legibility of the original geometric shape, but Project began to produce compound figures in mass, volume, and openings. Projection drawings and physical models were used to work through the design of an architectural object.
