Rethinking the Waterfront Infrastructure

This project takes place at “L’Espigó Del Gas, Espigó De Ginebra,” a two-pronged pier along the coast of Barcelona. My group was tasked with using distinguishable characteristics of the city to influence a design. Given the location of the site, we believed that sound was the most important aspect of the city, therefore, we researched and developed a performance hall where the sounds of both the sea and city converge.
